Donald G. Foot Jr.

President and CEO
Mr. Foot has a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Administration from the University of Utah. He was appointed as a Trustee by the Governor to the State of Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration and also serves as Chairman of the University of Utah Metallurgy Department Advisory Committee and on the Board of Directors of the University of Utah Crimson Club. Mr. Foot was formerly a Senior Consultant to McClelland Laboratories; President of Amnor Energy; President and CEO of Palladon Ventures and Palladon Iron Corporation, a publicly traded Canadian Mining Corporation; President of KnowledgeScape Systems and Worldwide Director of Minerals for EIMCO/Baker Process; President and COO of Pyramid Resources; Products Division Manager for Control International; and, a Metallurgist and Research Supervisor of Mineral Processing for the U.S. Bureau of Mines. In his 40+ years in the mineral processing industry he has authored over 100 technical publications/presentations, and holds 9 patents in mineral processing research, equipment design, and expert control systems.He has been involved in the installation and start-up of mineral processing plants world-wide, and is responsible for all Veragold operations.

Chris Chipman

Chief Financial Officer
Currently serving as acting CFO and has been responsible for Veragold’s strategic planning and analysis through his association with Centri Business Consultants. A CPA by profession Chris spent 5 years as CFO at Capital Gold Corporation where he successfully negotiated and facilitated a $420M sale of the company to AuRico Gold formerly Gammon Gold. He was also involved in transitioning the company from an exploration/development company into production. He has varied experience in the financial-, pharmaceutical and mining industries.

Adam C. Ellinger

Chief Operations Excellence Officer
With a Masters in Quality and Manufacturing Management,20-years-experience, and certified in Lean, Six Sigma and Agile, Adam has honed his skills as a plant controller for GE, Operations Improvement Manager for global Nestle and a senior director of operational excellence and process improvement at Liberty Mutual. With mining background in the US and Ghana, he is responsible for effectively coordinating the construction and operation of the plant at Santa Rosa. Globally recognized as an organizational leader,his focus on operational improvement is critical to the successful operation of the Santa Rosa facility.

Dayan J. Anderson

Director of Mining and Environment
Ms. Anderson has over 20 years of diverse minerals industry experience including pit operations, strategic and tactical planning, mine reclamation, environmental management, and sustainable development. She holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a M.S. in Environmental Studies from Green Mountain College. Ms. Anderson is an International Fellow with the Leadership for Environment and Development program and a Qualified Professional Member of the Mining and Metallurgical Society of America. Ms. Anderson oversees the strategic mine planning for all Veragold operations and manages the contract miner and environmental team at Minas Santa Rosa.

Rafael Eysseric Alzamora

General Manager Minas Santa Rosa (Panama)
Rafael is the general manager at the Santa Rosa Site. He is a Chemical Engineer with 25-years of experience. Most recently he served as VP of engineering, planning and design at Petaquilla Gold where he coordinated the engineering, administration, purchasing , construction and start-up of an expansion from 3000tpd to 5000tpd. He is responsible for all site operations and the day-to-day activities at the Santa Rosa site.

Carlos Salazar

Corporate General Manager (Panama)
Mr. Salazar is a Mining Engineer and Master’s Degree Graduate from the Superior Institute of Mining and Geology of Sofia, Bulgaria. He has completed postgraduate studies in Cultivation Management, Mineral Beneficiation, Social Communications and Foreign Affairs. Mr. Salazar was formerly the Operations Manager for Cyprus Mining in Panama, Central America and the Caribbean; Superior Office Consultant and National Director of Inspection for Panama’s Ministry of Work and Social Development; Chief Operating and Communications Officer for Aurum Exploration; and Chief Technician and Official Spokesman for Petaquilla Gold. Mr. Salazar has over 25+ years’ experience in the mining industry, with an emphasis in exploration operations, public relations, social responsibility, and media publications.He is responsible for all government affairs and Veragold social programs.
